Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, also known as Pa Josiah Akindayomi, was a significant figure in the development of Christianity in Nigeria. He was the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), one of the largest Pentecostal churches in Nigeria and indeed the world.
His contributions to Christianity are numerous. He was known for his deep spirituality and commitment to the spread of the gospel. Under his leadership, the RCCG expanded rapidly, establishing branches across Nigeria and other parts of the world.
