ABSTRACT

Corporate Recruitment System (CRS) is web-based tool to reduce communication gap between Job providers and Job seekers.

The Main objective of this solution is to make easy the recruitment process of any organization. This CRS is designed by keeping in mind both parties Job providers and Job seekers. CRS allows Job seekers to register their details like skills and experience with the system, and then on the other hand even it allows job providers to post their requirements with the system.

Corporate Corporate recruitment management system is helpful for the job providers i.e. companies which are in need of employees, job seekers who are in need of job, (for both Exp and freshers).  This portals main aim is to provide the vacancies available for the job seekers without taking any charge from them in IT technologies.CRS will automatically send mails to all job seekers whose skills are matched with the requirement.

CHAPTER ONE

1.0         INTRODUCTION

The Project titled “Corporate Recruitment System” is one which helps out the HR Personal in the recruitment of new candidates to the company and helps the recruitment process as a whole.

Corporate recruitment System (CRS) is a part of the Human Resource Management System that structures and manages the entire recruitment process. This corporate recruitment service system will primarily focus on the posting and management of job vacancies. However, this will be the initial step towards achieving the long term goal of delivering broader services to support recruitment.

This will provide service to the potential job applicants to search for working opportunities and if they choose they may be able to make an application online. It is planned that ultimately all vacancies will be posted online and that this site will offer employers the facilities both to post their vacancies online and to review and manage the resulting applications efficiently through the web with the help of the CRS. CRS will allow job provider to establish one to one relationships with candidates, by keeping in close communications with them through out the application, interview, and hiring process. It even allows the candidates to track the progress of their application.

In other words, enables the employer to treat candidates like customers.

1.1     OBJECTIVE OF THE SYSTEM

1.2.   STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

In our society today, the issue of managing human resources in fiCRMS, companies or organizations is a great challenge to the management.

In managing human resources of any organization, all begins with the recruitment processes of the organization, keeping with current recruitment and selection practices, members of selection panels, however experienced, should be in touch with new practices and procedures.  Being faced with the fact of growth in our present society, applicants are increasing day by day, and are putting in their application for available job being advertised for enlistment in any company of their choice according to their qualifications and level of experiences.  Also, there is a problem of open discussion on the criteria for the job and challenging discrimination in all steps of the process in recruitment and essential in employing the best perform for the job.

1.4     LIMITATION OF STUDY

Since corporate recruitment management system is a segment of human resource management system, but has many modules within it, this study will be limited to the basic recruitment processes without some in-depth explanation of some segments due to the time factor.

The activities that will be involved in recruitment process will involve the sourcing for prospective candidates and sending of mail to qualified applicant, adding of test to a job, grading the applicant base on the test of job applied for, matching job profile with the applicants’ profile, searching for applicants that are liable to be applied and managing of all these processes.

This corporate recruitment management system will be limited to an organization or firm that have a database and can post job profiles in the organization or firm. Also, the actual provision for a computerized test will not be implemented as its scope is beyond that of the research work.

1.5        SIGNIFICANCE OF STUDY

Undoubtedly, this research work would break new grounds as concerning corporate recruitment management systems. Without much emphasis, this work would aid users in obtaining jobs faster rather than utilizing the tedious method of going from one company to another in search for a particular job, as a result, would reduce the number of unemployed and also manage the recruitment process starting from the applicant, ending with a firm or an organization.

1.6    SCOPE OF THE STUDY

The proposed system will affect or interface with the activities of graduate, employer and administrator. The system works and fulfills all the functionalities as per the proposed system. It will provide reduced response time against the queries made by different users. The administrator will have a clear view of number of vacancies for a particular job, number of candidates applied and number of candidates selected. All possible features such as verification, validation, security, user friendliness etc have been considered. The different types of modules present in this project are

1.6    DEFINITION OF TECRMS

ATS: Applicant Tracking System. Manages job applications and resume data.

Data is collected from the company’s website and/or extracted from job board Applicants.

Cloud Computing: Also called “distributed computing,” this is essentially a shared network maintained on a large series of servers. The sharing of servers and infrastructure among multiple users results in economies of scale and the dynamic reallocation of resources as needed. The ability to “move around” a myriad of technologies that are not physically present at the user’s location gave rise to the notion of a “cloud” of services users can “see” but that are in some sense ephemeral.

EEOC: Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Federal government agency that enforces laws against job discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, or national origin.

Employee Engagement: The concept that engaging employees to assess and improve job satisfaction results in positive business outcomes. Example: An

effective on boarding process correlates with higher employee retention.

(Employee Eligibility Verification) Service: Online completion and

verification that a new hire has submitted IRS Form I-9 form required to verify

worker eligibility status.

Job Boards: Employment website that posts jobs from various companies and

allows interested job seekers to complete a corresponding job application and

submit a resume. Major job boards include CareerBuilder, Indeed, Monster, and

Yahoo! Careers (formerly HotJobs).

Job Title Search Engine Optimization: Strategic optimization of job postings

produces higher rankings of job ads in search engines such as Google.

Onboarding: The process of introducing new employees to their job assignments, including corporate orientation, completion of new employee paperwork and issuance of identification/security cards, passwords, computers, mobile phones, or other new hire equipment.

Open API: Application Programming Interface. A set of programming technologies to enhance collaboration among websites.

OFCCP: Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. U.S. Department of

Labor program to ensure employers doing business with federal government comply with all nondiscrimination laws and regulations.

SaaS: Software as a Service. Software and associated data hosted by a vendor on centrally located data warehouse, or cloud; client accesses software and data via a Web portal.
