Free Essay on How and Where I celebrated my Children Day.

Children’s Day is an international holiday honoring the achievements of children everywhere. The purity, happiness, and sheer delight of childhood are celebrated. On May 27th of each year, kids all across Nigeria and the world come together to celebrate this unique day. This year, my family and I spent Children’s Day in Lagos, and it was a day full of merriment and new experiences.

My day began with a trip to Johnson Jakande Tinubu Park in Alausa, Lagos, with my wife and two kids. It’s a big park with lots of fun stuff for kids and their families to do there. A small zoo housing many different species of animals may also be found in the park. There were already a lot of kids there of various ages playing games and having a good time when we got there. My seven-year-old daughter was enthralled by the variety of creatures at the mini-zoo, so that’s where we started. Many different kinds of monkeys, snakes, birds, and other creatures were present. My five-year-old son was thrilled to see crocodiles and pythons at the reptile exhibit. Taking photographs and learning about the various creatures occupied approximately an hour of our time at the little zoo.

My kids were ecstatic to discover a trampoline park, swing sets, slides, and even a mini golf course at the outdoor playground. We participated in the merriment and taught them how to whack a ball by playing with them. We were overjoyed to see them having such a good time and bursting with energy.

The adults enjoyed themselves just as much as the kids did. We had a wonderful experience becoming closer as a family. The highlight of our excursion was watching a mini-tournament on the football field next to the playground, which had been set up by the park administration. There were separate football grounds for youth under the age of eight and those between the ages of eight and fourteen. Although they were too young to play, my family and I had a great time watching the little athletes demonstrate their abilities on the football field. They played with a level of intensity and intensity that belied their youth. After the event we took a few pictures with the mascots in a makeshift studio they had built up in the park. We posed for photos with cartoon animals and our favorite superheroes.

My little girl requested us to frame the photos with the princesses so she could hang them in her room. We complied and offered her some poster prints for her living room wall. The Lions mascot was quite kind to my youngster and constantly striking amusing postures for the camera. As we explored the park, we came across several shops selling handmade goods, refreshments, and mementos.

Children were kept busy at the craft tables, where they could make their own unique cards and decorations for the walls. As a memento for their grandparents, we brought them a bunch of cards and special gifts. We stopped at one of the little stands and had some fried plantains and sausages, both of which were quite good. The remainder of the day was spent lounging in the park and watching the excited children at play.

The journey to Johnson Jakande and Tinubu Park for Children’s Day was a wonderful success. We learned the value of cherishing our time with our children by sharing in their joy at childhood milestones and creating cherished family traditions. In conclusion, I had a wonderful time with my loved ones at the Lagos Children’s Day celebration. We were able to bond via our shared love of football, good cuisine, and newfound knowledge of exotic creatures at an amusement park. I now know that for a child to flourish and mature into a self-assured adult, they require positive experiences and imaginative play. As parents, it’s our responsibility to give our kids a happy, healthy childhood full with memorable experiences.
