INTRODUCTION

Background to the Study

What are the challenges hindering the growth and development of grassroots sports in Egor Local Government?
How have government policies and initiatives impacted grassroots sports development in Egor Local Government?
How does community involvement and participation contribute to the development of grassroots sports in Egor Local Government?

Research Hypothesis

The hypothetical statement of the study is buttressed below:

Ho: Government policies and initiatives cannot affect grassroots sports development in Egor Local Government.

Ho: Government policies and initiatives can affect grassroots sports development in Egor Local Government.

Significance of the Study

The significance of studying the issues of grassroots sports development in Egor Local Government in Edo state is manifold.

Firstly, this study will provide a comprehensive understanding of the current state of grassroots sports development in the region. The examines the issues of grassroot sport’s development in Egor Local Government in Edo State. The study is restricted to Secondary School Inter-house sports in in Egor Local Government in Edo state.
